Photographing Your Virtual Home Tour™
PRE-PHOTOGRAPHY
After you place your order, your order will be sent to Virtual Home Tours™ here in Cincinnati. One of our photographers will contact you directly, within 24 hours, to schedule a time and date to meet you at the site and photograph the property. The time involved to photograph the tour is approximately 30 minutes.
Tip for Fall and Winter Months
It is recommended that exterior shots not be taken due
to the sun being low in the sky and possibility of snow. Most web
sites already have an exterior still photograph posted. To get the
best bang for your $buck...have our photographers take 4 interior
shots of your properties. This is only a recommendation. As always...
it is your call.

Here are a few tips to help you get the most from your Virtual Tour
- The showing coordinator will notify the homeowner of the date and time of the appointment. The listing should be ready to photograph.
- Prepare the listing property for photographing prior to the photographer's arrival. This can include; removing refrigerator magnets, tidying rooms, making beds, removing pool covers, pets locked up or under control, all ceiling fans should be off etc. Similar to preparing for an open house.
- Lights - all lamps, chandeliers, closet lights and fixtures should have a working bulb and turned on.
- Exteriors - avoid trash days, garage doors closed, remove automobiles that you do not want in the scene, etc. Don't forget - each scene is a full 360-degree around.
MLS Number
If did not provide the MLS number when you placed your order, you should give it to our photographer when you meet on the date scheduled. Please remember that your tour will not be found on the Web without the MLS number.
During the Appointment
- The photographer will meet you at the site and go over which areas you would like filmed.
- The photographer will use his or her expertise to film each scene to look its best on the web.
- This process takes approximately 30 minutes if the property is ready.
POST PHOTOGRAPHY - WHAT HAPPENS NEXT?
Step 1: After your Virtual Tour has been photographed, our photographer will return to our processing center here in Cincinnati. Here, our technicians will create a high-quality virtual tour that is sent electronically for posting to the Web sites you chose.
Step 2: As soon as the virtual tour of your listing is linked to the Web, a confirmation e-mail will be sent to the e-mail address you specified at the time of your order. The e-mail will let you know how to find the tour and how much you have been charged.
Cancellations Policy
If for any reason you must cancel your appointment with the photographer, please provide notice of cancellation to your photographer at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. We recommend that you read our cancellation policy. A fee will apply for cancellation with less than 24 hours notice.
